Topic: Visual Art Giraffe

For my Art I did a giraffe and it was fun.

My favorite part was doing the eyelashes because it looked the best and it was the funnest part of the giraffe and I really had to do it carefully so I didn't make a mistake.

When I did the ears it was really tricky because I had to blend the coulors in with dark colors and light colors.

P.E

For my P.E I did Throwing, Running and Jumping.

For jumping we had to jump as high as we could my favorite part was over the yellow lines.

For running we did,like first year 5 boys race and then year 6 boys race.

For throwing we got a tennis ball and threw it as far as we can but we have to listen to the teacher because she or he can say hop on one leg and throw.

Literacy Post

For my literacy I did a narritive about a family going camping and some thing goes wrong.

The Camping Trip

It was Saturday morning and we were getting ready to go on holiday. Sam wasn't getting his stuff ready because he didn't want to go,So his mum was packing his bag up. Last time they went camping they forgot their food and Sam nearly fell in the river. So they got packed up and,Sam's parents forced him to go so he had to go. Later when they arrived in the afternoon we were just sitting down doing nothing.

“Dad said I'm really really hungry so we went hunting for our Kea we found 4 fishes and suddenly out of know were a bear starts chasing them. 30 seconds  later they lost the bear and we took the 4 fishes to the camp and then they started to find firewood they found firewood and put it in a pile and got matches and lighted it up and waited until it was warm enough to cook it.

15 Minutes later we took the fish and started cooking it up. Later it was cooked we first got plates and put them down then put our Kea on the plate and then get a fork and a knife and start eating. “Later Dad said tomorrow remember to wake up early because we're going to head back home”. After they got in there camp and everyone said goodnight at the same time and then they slept. They woke up at five am and got everything packed up,They all  sprang in the car and we drove home Feeling Lucky.

Math

In maths I leant my 5 times tables.

My fastest time was 41 seconds after like 15 minits of  practice we had rounds and who ever won they vs a extension maths person and Naomi beat 3 extension maths people.

• Something I enjoyed about my project was getting it done because this is my second project I've finished.

• The most challenging thing about my project was researching because I was having trouble

• The main skill I got better at was absorption I got better at it by keep on working.

• What I would most like to change about my project is making a slide because it's getting boring.

Managing distractions because  I was kept doing my work and not getting distracted by anyone. Perseverance because I was persevering in my learning and not giving up. Absorption because I was absorbed in my learning/PBL time and no one was trying to distract because I wasn't letting them.

My project was about shot put and I did a lot of researching and I had to go through it and make some changes.I liked doing the researching because all you had to do was copy and past it and  it was easy. But just then I found out I had to make some changes.

The chellenging part was doing the sun side because I was keep on messing up and that's why it was so hard. My favourite part was doing the couloring because I was doing cool and hot colours.

Reading Task

1. I am shareing this beacase this this is probably one of  my funest and maybe hardest reading task i'v done.

2. The chellenging part was doing the safty parts because it was tricky to draw.

3. The fun part was doing the motor bike parts because it was easy.

The challenging part was doing the Tally marks because Jacob had a lot of step - ups and it was really annoying.

The fun part was doing the graph because we were allowed to decorate it.

Suddenly Mum called me. I came to Mum and DON DON DON!!! We were going to Burger king. I got ready,we drove to Burger King and we went inside. We took our order and ate. I got a sundae that had caramel on it and I got a salad burger plus fries. My Dad and Brother got the same but my Mum didn't get a Sunday, she got extra fries.


SUNDAY

 I woke up, took a bath, got ready and jumped in the car with exitement and Mum, Dad, Bhrt were going too. It was 12.00 clock and we were at the park. Me and Bhrt got on the swing and we were having a competition who can go higher. Bhrt went higher and then he had to jump off and land. Then we went to the slide and we had to jump off. I was too scared so then Bhrt was going to do it and he did it! I was so surprised.

Describe your passion project. What was your learning in it? What were you trying to produce?

My passion project was the science of mechanics. I did a lot of researching and  it was a little hard. I was trying to produce a little bit more information.

How far did you get with your passion project? What would have helped you to get further?

I finished my Passion Project but before that  I used to talk but when it was time to finish passion projects I got on track.

What was the most challenging part of your passion project? Researching because it took me a long time because I did a lot.

What was surprising about your passion project? The surprising part was it was harder then it looked.

Did you follow your plan well? Why or why not? I followed it well because I planned to make a slideshow and research about cars.

Which learning muscles did you use the most while you were working on your passion project? How did you use each one? Absorption because when it was time to finish I used a lot of absorbing.

Which learning muscles did you find difficult to stretch during passion project time? Managing distractions because at the start of passion projects I wasn't Managing Distractions.

Quick write

When I woke up I could see the most scariest world there were trees that had no leaves. A few hours later I found a dungeon and it had dead bodies everywhere and I could see ghosts coming out and even some tuning in to zombies To be Continued? later I was getting surrounded by zombies and ghosts I saw a portal. I went in the portal and it brought me to another destination it was my old house. Later I found people and they took me to the king. The king was really nice he said "what is your name?" I said "Merlin" he said "perhaps we could call you young Merlin". Later the king gave me powers but when I woke up I didn't actually know that I had powers. After I went outside the dungeon there were people from my clan they said “use your powers" I said what powers?" They said "think about powers" I started thinking about powers and I suddenly popped out of nowhere and I started fighting suddenly me and my clan won. I went back to the king and he said "you have achieved your goal you have got a new ability you can now heal yourself and other people."

Blood story

I am sharing this because I liked this story. I wrote it with Miss Hill at my writing group.

Blood story

One extremely hot day I was playing on my MGP scooter outside my house.

Mum said “lunch time”.

I went in and had homemade pizza and started playing games.  It got to hot outside and then.

I started playing games.

5 Hours later.

Finally it was nice and cool and now we could play. Bhrt let's do some tricks.

He came he did a 1.80 me to.

I did a 1.80 suddenly I wasn't watching what was around me.

There was a crack in the path in front of me.

I slipped and a rock crashed in my eye and my eye got swollen. Mum heard me screaming I was absolutely filled with pain and I was saying mum mum mum.

Mum came brought me into the house and I was still crying hard core.

Later Mum gave me cream to rub on my eye and I got all better.
